Megan Landfair is the manager of the Virginia Harp Center of Philadelphia. An accomplished harpist, she has performed as a soloist and as a member of orchestras and chamber groups throughout the United States and Canada. Landfair has received honors in several national competitions,
including the Advanced and Young Professional divisions of the American Harp Society’s National competitions and Indiana University’s 11th Spanish and Latin American Music Competition. Landfair has been a frequent guest artist, teacher, and adjudicator at music festivals across the country.
In 2004, Megan earned her B.A. in Harp Performance from the University of Toronto under the tutelage of world-renowned harpist Judy Loman. In 2014 Landfair completed her Doctorate in Harp Performance from Indiana University, earning a double minor in Music Education and Arts Administration. While at Indiana University, she studied with Distinguished Professor of Music Susann McDonald.
Currently, Landfair maintains a thriving private harp studio at the Virginia Harp Center of Philadelphia. She frequently performs with her husband who is a classical guitarist and is enjoying an active performance schedule throughout the Mid-Atlantic.
